In September we went to see the movie A Haunting in Venice, and visually it presented a very stark contrast to the warm, sunlit Venice of my visits. The dark, moody photography quickly got me imagining my own narratives, and on Monday morning in the studio I quickly parked up the other ideas I'd been working on, delved into my archives and turned a corner into Italy!
