I've always been excited and fascinated by the idea of travelling; that wonderful sense of anticipation before setting out to see new places and people. The Zeiss Ikon camera seen here is from the late forties or early fifties; as a boy I owned a (probably cheaper) Kodak equivalent from the same period.
And yes... it was already very old when I had it!!
