Although my works usually allude to the mid-twentieth century, I usually try to avoid them being too time-specific,but
here is an exception. A quiet airfield somewhere in East Anglia or rural Lincolnshire; maybe 7am on an early autumn
morning around 1943. The jeep is American, the Spitfire very British. That much I give you - you decide the rest!
